A Little About Me!
My name is Shannon Taylor, I’ve been married for 13 years to my hot hunk of chocolate husband, Richard and mom to 3 beautiful kiddos. My oldest daughter, Maya is 11, my middle daughter, Ava is 8 and my youngest, my son, Caleb who’s almost 2 years old! (Yeah, we miscounted a day or two and surprise, here’s Caleb LOL!)
I really started Savin’ it for Hubby about 5 years ago, well starting SIFH saved me. This all started based on issues my Hubby and I were having in our marriage. I thought surely I couldn’t be the only woman in the world struggling with identity issues, sexual issues, and confidence and esteem issues so I began to write. The more God taught me and the more I wrote, the more I was healed and my passion for serving my sisters grew!
Now, I facilitate classes and have co-developed a purity program at my church, am working on my first book and have spoken at many women’s and teen events on the truth about who they are and how God loves us women very much. He meant for us to be protected and cherished and most of us have not and have the scars to show for it. Not realizing that those scars turn into dead weight that we lug around for years and it just chips away at our lives. So I say no more!!
My joy is in serving my sisters, guiding and mentoring them. My ultimate goal is to lead my sisters-in-Christ to the lover of their souls, Jesus Christ, to see them whole. To teach them to depend on Him for their every need; mental, spiritual and physical.
I graduated with honors, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from DeVry University. After working in the corporate and hospitality industry for almost 20 years, struggling to find purpose and direction, I was led to teach and coach women, young and old, single or married into their God-given purpose, hence the birth of Savin’ it for Hubby. Savin’ it for Hubby has opened new doors to allow me to bring truth to women from all walks of life. I tell ya, knowing your purpose and walking in it makes all the difference in the world. I am here to serve and am grateful and humbled for the opportunity!

1 Corinthians 6:12-20
12 “Everything is permissible for me”–but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me”–but I will not be mastered by anything.13 “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food”–but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never!16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
