Isaiah 41:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you;
Do not be afraid, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you;
I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’
Today has been pretty heavy. I’m feeling the burden of the anniversary of 9/11 and the impending hurricane on the east coast. I’m feeling the fears and hurts. Being a prophet and having the gift of discernment, I feel lots of what’s going on in the atmosphere and it’s compiled with what’s going on in my own life. The hardest thing sometimes is separating other peoples hurts and fears from your own. So I pray for both.
I’m learning so much in this season. I’m learning so much about people and that their actions speak a whole heck of a lot louder than their words. Their facial expressions speak volumes! I’m learning to deal with the discomfort of not being liked by some people but loving them in spite of. I’m learning to accept people as they are and sometimes that can be hard and painful but never the less, my God tells me in today’s verse not to be afraid of this new journey for He is with me. He will give me the strength to move forward in spite of all that I’m learning and discerning. He’s helping me to see people through His eyes and I’m so happy that He is. I refuse to let bitterness take root. I refuse to develop a hard heart because of the things that I can see and feel. Instead, I will pray harder and love with the love of Christ. I will hold on to His righteous right hand, His hand of justice, power, victory and salvation. I’m so grateful for our Father’s heart to help us to navigate the rough waters.
Whatever you’re going through right now, please remember that you are not alone, God is with you and for you! For those on the east coast, I’m praying for you and for those affected by the tragic events of 9/11 I’m praying for you as well. If there’s anything in particular that I can be in prayer for, please send me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be blessed & encouraged,
